I got this cream because it’s BB and mineral. It’s kinda neat as a makeup base in that it has a good quick camouflaging effect on pink/red blotches. I actually like the shiny look that others seem to complain about. Unfortunately,I will agree with the other acne people in that it did worsen breakouts. I’m gonna give it a low rate because this cream is marketed to have the same effects as mineral makeup, meaning helpful to oily skin, butt it makes oily skin worse.

This is the first bb cream that i bought because it’s not pricey. I think its really great for its price, of course i didn’t really expect too much when I used this, but surprisingly it didn’t disappoint me!

Coverage? It has light to medium coverage. It covered my pores really well although i can’t say the same about its coverage on my pimple marks. It matches my skin really well because it has like a yellow undertone unlike missha (which has gray undertones and made me look so weird) :(

Texture? Its watery. But i have no qualms about that because it spreads easily AND it gives me the natural look! :”>

Oil Control? Unfortunately, i don’t think this has any oil control at all. -____- My skin is super oily and i swear my face gets sticky and oily after just about 15 minutes of applying this. I usually end up using Tony Moly loose powder and reapply it every hour just so my face won’t look like a frying pan.

Smell? I don’t smell anything on it :D

Overall: I love this more than Missha because it worked well for me. :)

This is a great buy for the price. I was sceptacle because it was not that pricey, but it really performs. My skin has gotten worse since I turned 30, blemishes, uneven tone. With this little number I don’t need to worry about covering them up any more.

this was the first ever BB cream i used i bought it cause it isn’t too expensive. id say it has medium coverage. the shade made me look ashy :| and i had to blot every 2 hrs which was kind of a hassle since i’m a student. it also made me breakout, i thought it was supposed to be a Blemish Balm but how come i just ended up getting more blemishes? :( i don’t know about you but i won’t be buying this again. i now only buy Korean brand BB creams they suit my skin much better

I live in Singapore (yes, super humid climate with lots of sun and rain) and have oily/combination skin. I became a fan of bb creams cos I do not like to pile on products but I still want to hide small blemishes.

I am currently using this in 01Fresh and it’s not too bad a product! Light to medium coverage, buildable. You will not need alot of product to cover your entire face, just a few dots is enough! Doesn’t break me out (have been using for about 5 months now). Able to act as a makeup base as well ^^

Before I have a clear and smooth skin, because of using erase placenta products, I had so many acne that resulted to acne scars and I underwent so many facial cleaning with laser treatment by my skin dermatologist. Now, I already have sensitive skin, a little make up may resulted to pimples or bumps, I first used HR Helena Rubinstein, it is very good in coverage! It is highly recommended! 10+++! But it is very expensive. It is only available in France and Macau so you have no choice but to ship it internationally.. I need to choose products which is cheaper but offers best service and quality. I found out this MAYBELLINE CLEAR SMOOTH BB CREAM, this product is awesome! I am using it for 9 months and it heals some of my acne scars, it didn’t develop bumps or pimples. You will look very natural but more often oily. Whenever I used other products like Nichido or even Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream,it develop bumps, pimples or even acne. so, you will need to stick with all maybelline products if you really eant to have a very nice skin and coverage. Don’t mix any cosmetics with other brands for it maybe resulted to allergies or pimples. You must try MAYBELLINE BB CREAM then apply CLEAR SMOOTH MINERAL FOUNDATION plus MAYBELLINE CHEEK BLUSHER to balance the effect. I really love this product so much! Go for it especially to those who have skin problems like acne or pimples, it non-comodogenic meaning it won’t clog your pores that can be resulted to pimples and acne. Just make sure at night you will clean your face with deep cleaning facial wash, toner and night cream. In addition, before using this product you must always cleans your face with ant-bacterial facial wash, toner and day cream to have a more promising and satisfactory effect. =) be hygienic and pimples will disappear.:)

this is the first bb cream i bought. i’m currently using the faceshop’s power perfection bb cream and will soon be writing a review about that.

disclaimer..yes i’m a korean-descent boy and i use bb creams. deal with it.

this drugstore brand appealed to me, just like for many others i’m sure, because of it’s price. 250 php is pretty affordable for a bb cream, and it’s label saying it has 8 minerals that help give you radiant, hydrated and over-all good looking skin is just irresistible.

i’m asian, with yellow undertones and mild acne scars. i’m combination/oily specifically in the t zone area.

after trying it on, i was very disappointed. it has gray undertones making my face color a totally different shade than the rest of my body. it is only available in one color and is obviously made for the extremely fair people.. Caucasians to be exact. the coverage is sheer to medium and the bb cream is a little watery for me. but smell wise- it is great, almost no smell at all.

after 2 hours i already had to use blot sheets to control the oil. and after using it for two weeks, i got cystic acne. ;c

i won’t recommend this for oily skinned and to people who are not fair. extremely disappointing.

It was only this year that I learned about BB creams from a friend. I am not really into foundations because I thought that my skin only needs concealer to hide my under eye circles. My friend was using Maybelline BB Cream that time and her insistent demand on me to try the product resulted to me never leaving home without it. My initial reluctance developed into confusion – well, positive confusion I guess – because I do not know whether to classify Maybelline BB Cream as a make-up or a skin care product. While it claims to have 8 minerals to benefit the skin, I say, I have 8 reasons for women to buy this product:
    1. It can conceal dark under eye circles, zits, and other breakouts and skin blemishes in just s thin dot application.
    2. It serves as a good make up base, as it seems to adapt to any climate – be it very hot or very cold, the make up stays on because the cream stays on!
    3. It can be worn with face powder for that matte appearance, or it can be worn alone for that radiant au naturelle look.
    4. It adapts to every skin tone! – I swear! – and it has SPF 26, too!
    5. It is good for all skin types. I am mixed oily, normal and dry skinned, but I never had a problem with my skin health since I used the BB cream.
    6. It is the cheapest BB Cream in the market, yet formulated by a world-famous beauty authority, Maybelline New York.
    7. Its size is easy to carry any time and anywhere – whenever the occasion calls for its help!
    8. With its unbelievable size and price, it can last up to 4 months when used at an average of 5 times a week!
Since I am kind of experimental, I tried on the BB Cream from The Body Shop – same results but almost two times more expensive and bulky. I also tried Dior Snow BB Cream – way, way too expensive and it does not adjust to my medium skin tone (as the line implies, perhaps it is for fair-skinned women). With these considerations, I guess this leaves me sticking with my Maybelline BB Cream.

To start off, I have a normal skin but for some reasons I’m very acne prone. Because of this I’m sometimes hesitating when I try new make up. But it’s been a long time since I want to try BB cream. Maybelline is my first BB cream that I ever tried. It’s quiet cheap and comes in small package (so you won’t feel guilty if you want to dumps it if the product is unsuitable for you). First time I open the I open the tube I really like the texture (not too thick nor too watery) and when I apply it, it looks good on my face. The coverage is very sheer, for the smell I didn’t really notice about it just the same smell most cosmetics have. The first problems came when I try to look in the mirror one hour later, it looks so grayish in my face and I look like zombie (I have light skin whith yellow undertone). In the end when I clean my face I note that I got a lot of new pimples after I use this. In the end, I don’t think I’m going to buy this product again. Sigh….

This is my first BB Cream so I can’t compare it with other products. First I’m a combination type of skin. It doesn’t have coverage at all! It didn’t cover my blemishes and so as my pores. It’s a little watery for me. I think It doesn’t have oil control AT ALL! I have to blot every 2 to 3 hours or so.

As I read other reviews I just realized that maybe this BB cream is the reason why I have this little bumps on my cheeks and forehead. Since I didn’t have them before I started using this BB cream.

I would definitely not buy this again.

this is my 2nd bb cream.

i like this bb cream, it’s simple to bring, fresh texture and easy to blend. But it doesnt adapt my face shade as well, yah at least i cant use it without powder and wait longer before going out with it. It’s oil control is nice, enought to save me from too much oil. Coverage is enough, can help me with small pimples and blackhead but not blemishes. Smell nice enough, after 3 days i dont even smell it. :p

This is the first ever bb cream i have tried. And i really like it.I am from Pakistan. My skin is fair, oily combination.I don’t have any issues with my pores and rarely get break outs.
The color of this bb cream works for my skin but as with all bb creams , not for even slightly darker complexions.
Smells sort of floral initially but the smell goes away as it blends with the skin.
Coverage is medium.Concealer necessary for better coverage,Does even out my skin tone though.
Consistency is slightly on the thicker side.Blends easily enough.
Texture wise i find this closer to a foundation.Meaning that it gives more of a satin finish than a dewy one.
Oil control is good but not that good.Holds on for two hours or so but than the T-zone area gets oily.
Bought it from Malaysia. The smaller tube cost me 22RM.
Hope this was helpful.Thank you for reading:)

This is my first BB Cream. I initially thought that this is a pricey BB Cream but to my surprise, it’s actually affordable! :) I tested it and the results are very nice. :) The coverage is superb, it feels light on my skin so it’s good. However, as I fall under the oily skin type, I must suggest to first put loose powder on the T-Zone to rid the skin of any extra oils while maintaining the moisture of the face. It’s quite a steal and a must-try so I recommend this BB Cream. If you are looking for a low-maintenance, brilliant BB Cream product, you should try this. :)

this is the first BB cream i used. well actually because it’s the cheapest i found! :)

even though this is a drugstore brand, it works just fine. the best thing about this BB cream is that it looks natural even under sunlight, fluorescent, or camera flash. i’ve recently tried using more expensive korean brands, but doctors at work kept asking if i’m feeling ok becasue i look pale. hahahah!

i never had this problem with Maybelline BB cream because it blends and absorbs well instead of making a cakey appearance on my face. it doesn’t controls oil that much though. and also, i never break out with this product.

The promotional price caught my attention at Watsons, I thought, no harm giving it a try as the highly rave brands like Etude House, Tony Moly, Skin79 makes my skin shine more than i like it.

I tested the pdt on my wrists to feelthe texture and surprisingly it evens out really well and the veins are well concealed and blends with my natural skin colour TOTALLY. The colour is so natural that i only have to dab on my face couple of times for it to blend in with no blotchy white residue like other brands.

The bane of bb creams is under bright camera flashes the face turns out ghostly and over-radiant. For the very first time, that didnt happen to my made up face. Today is also the first time in years I had people commenting on my radiant natural glowy look. My colleagues even though I had gone through some cosmetic rejuvenation the previous day as my usual skin tone have always been blotchy with blemishes.

Guess I have to find a new owner for my new Chanel Foundation, Guerlain Meteorites, Shiseido tinted moisturiser.

this is my first bb cream… i was afraid on trying a bb cream from maybelline before cus they’re so cheap and sometimes price tell everything, right??

but then i tried it though. the result it’s amazing. my pores looks gone. my face brighter. but it didn’t cover my face so good so i have to apply it twice and it still make my face oily not like it said, that the bb cream can reduce oil in ur face. NO! the oil on my face still there, and it’s not going anywhere.

but overall, this is a good bb cream. for those who has a low budget.

now i’m searching for other bb cream that can reduce my oil much much better than this one… can anybody give me a suggestion,, plis….!!!!
    (^________^)

    merci!

This is the only BB cream I bought so far & made me stay away from BB creams, haha! Positive side is that when I use this people really look at me, I guess I glow or something. Negative side, as per previous comment, are bumps on my face (small ones). It’s scary.

For years, Ive been using a very expensive powder foundation but still I need to apply a lot of things like moisturizer, sun block and concealer. Its a long process that i do everyday. Then I discovered maybelline BB cream. i bought and tried it. I could feel that it feels good on my skin and it has good effects like it evens out my skin tone and hides my blemishes even until 8hrs. The only downside here is the shade which is too pale, so i apply bronzer. But then I have shortened my “make up steps”. I hope Maybelline could come out with several shades+

This is my second bb cream. :)
I’m really skeptical about trying bb cream because Elianto BB cream made my skin worse because I have acne prone skin and it made me break out :(

So i went to the mall and purchase this bb cream. It’s really small and cute. It’s cheaper than any other brand name bb creams so I give it a try. :]

The oil control can be better but for humid countries, I think you need to blot every 4 hrs or so… The texture is quite thick but it’s decent. Coverage is Medium-Full, no dark circles, blackheads and blemishes visible, though not all of it can be covered.I can’t really put 2 layers because its too light for my skintone.

The only downside with this bb cream is the shade. It’s practically made for fair-skinned women :( i am NC30 this definitely won’t look so good but i tend to apply a bronzer/mineral make up after putting this bb cream and it looked better. However, i really don’t like wearing make up and i want BB cream that is wearable and convenient (that i don’t need to use any make up over it) so I stopped using it.

But anyway, for fair-skinned ladies. It’s definitely a worth buy. :)

This BB Cream is the first one I have tried and it suits me very well! I have been using it for 6 months already and everytime I use it, my friends would actually wonder how come my skin has become more radiant and smooth, almost with no blemishes!

When you use it as make-up base, it instantly gives you a smooth, even finish that you won’t be needing any additional product on your skin.

Plus, the SPF 26 is higher than the usually available SPF of other products. I love how an inexpensive brand like Maybelline gives you so much already!

The only downside I have encountered is that it gives you a moist look after a couple of hours so you’ll be needing a touch-up of fine powder just to compensate for the oil (if you’re oily-skinned like me).

Overall, I won’t be needing to change my Maybelline BB Cream (or maybe until I have my breakouts) unless it’s withdrawn from the market. ♥

I love this BB cream! This was the first one I tried and it’s great. It only comes in one shade though and you need to have pretty light skin to pull it off. I’m an NW10 and it suits me perfectly. It does have a little bit of a yellow undertone more so than pink but it still works well with my cool undertones.

Coverage is medium. It really evens out my skintone and brightens my skin. The only downside to this BB cream is that it does have a tendency to break me out if I wear it every day (most products containing silicone do this to me though). I typically will wear it a few times a week and alternate with an other foundation. The texture is quite watery so you have to be careful b/c it comes out of the tube pretty fast. I also recommend setting this with powder as it will help control the oil and keep it on your skin longer.

Overall, this is a great BB cream. I would say it’s pretty comparable to Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer in terms of coverage and consistency, but it’s a lot cheaper. Definitely give it a try!
