I am a 14 year old w/ severe acne and extremely oily skin. LET ME TELL YOU- THIS IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN. It made my acne flare up, and as soon as I stopped using this product, a patch of acne on my face went away LIKE THAT!
The coverage is wonderful. This bb is really creamy and thick, so it has awesome coverage. But, still it is a bb ceam, so the coverage is not the BEST.
Texture is sooo smooth and creamy. It blends on to your skin so well and leaves it looking almost flawless for about 4 hrs.
If you have oily skin, you do have to blot with this bb cream, as it is moisturizing and not at all mattifing. Goes on really dewy and glowing, but in an hour or so, blot blot blot!
This smells heavenly. It smells very lightly of flowers and…. I don’t know, but it is not an overwhelming scent at all. I love it.
good things about this bb cream :
do adapt my face shade as well (and quick!)
help me cover blemishes, blackhead and acne prone
stay for long hours
bad things about this bb cream :
oil oil oil, especially when it’s hot. So i only use it when i stay in a room with air conditioner, or at least at night.
my skin: combination normal –> normal everywhere except oily nose [which has giant pores]; not prone to breakouts, no scarring, slight uneven skintone – patchy/ruddyness around cheek, nc25 in MAC, mostly yellow undertones with some pink on cheeks
undertones too ashy grey to wear all over my face – i wear this on my cheeks & around my nose only, a bit like a concealer, you only need a tiny bit for coverage – extremely blendable, i haven’t sniffed it but i can’t smell anything when applying.
overall the consistncy & coverage is great, only issue is the colour; i think the missha perfect cover in 21 is better then this one in terms of colour adjustment; neither can control the oil on my nose – but nothing does, does not worsen it though. no breakouts but no particular product has ever given me a breakout – only lack of sleep can do this… =)
the good:
~ good coverage
~ keeps moisture
~ calms skin
~ stays for hours! really long.
~ literally makes all the redness disappear
the bad:
~ made me break out a lot
~ not for people prone to acne, oily skin
~ only one shade
the ugly:
~ the shade was too dark for me. i’d say it’s more of a normal skin, not really for pale people. it’s also good for tanned skin, makes your face brightened, but not paler.
~ the texture is rather thick, some may like it, some may not. it makes coverage better, but it’s easy to end up applying to much. other than that, it’s really nice.
~ takes some time to blend in, but does it really good.
~ smells like soap. the smell isn’t offensive though.
