This was actually my first ever bb cream . i went online and search for one of the best bb creams , and i found this .
so here’s what i think about this bb cream .
I believe that SKIN79′s bb cream was made for more mature woman. Although it was , it did gave me an acceptable amount of coverage . It smells very “floral” . It says on the packaging that it has a whitening effect , and it only does when i apply more than one and a half pumps which is more product than i should be using . It’s texture however is really smooth . it glides on your face effortlessly .
The downside is that , after a few hours , maybe 3-4 hours , your face tends to get oily. but you can use powder and its all good. And if i leave it on my face for more than 9 hours , my skin will tend to breakout .
I will not try to buy this bb cream again as i think this is too “mature” for my skin .
but for those women who are over 20 i guess this is a must try bb cream
I have been using this bb cream for five months now and I can conclude that although the ingredients are good quality, this bb was not made for teen skin. This bb is more on the creamy side and moisturizing so I think it would be better for dryer skin. As a teen however, I have very oily and very sensitive skin. In just one hour, my face was all oiled up and if I wear it for more than 10 hours a day, I will start to break out
Also, it does nothing for blemishes and does not cover acne scarrings, but that was expected since bb creams don’t offer that great coverage. It also has an unflattering grayish cast which I know skin79 bb creams are infamous for. However, it leaves the skin with a very nice texture and evens out red skin tone. It seriously diminishes large pores making the skin so soft and gives an even and smooth finish to the texture. As for the whitening effect, it does lighten the skin tone, even after taking off the makeup but does nothing to lighten acne scars. I do see an improvement in the fine lines around my eyes and mouth, they have become less noticeable so this bb does have wrinkle fighting power. Overall, I think that this bb is very good for more mature skin and is also more on the expensive side ($38). For teens, I would recommend The Face Shop’s Quick and Clean BB instead since that is geared more for oily, sensitive skin.
I was rather impressed by this BB cream. The packaging is quite stylish,although after using it a couple of times it splurged out BB cream when laid in my makeup bag.
When you squeeze the BB cream out,the pleasant smell hits you straight away. The BB cream itself looks very dark matched my caucasian skin very well (NC 15) and covered up minor blemishes. I only needed a little as although it is rather thin in consistency,it has good coverage.
The one let down with the cream is my skin became oily within 3 hours,but I do have extemely oily skin. With a powder,this problem is solved.
Because of the awful packaging,which meant over half my BB cream was wasted,I would not buy this again unless Skin79 release a potted version,which is a shame as it’s a nice cream.
This is my second bb cream and overall it’s not bad.
The overall coverage is light, a little concealer does go a long way when using this product. It does, after 3-4 hours, start to have an oily effect which can be prevented with some setting powder. I haven’t had any breakouts using this product and its very easily blended. I had no issues with it drying or anything like that. Also there is a very light floral scent to this product, not highly noticeable, but it’s there.
As for whitening or wrinkle effect, I haven’t really noticed any.
Another failure for Skin79. Please don’t waste your money on this product. Although, Skin79 spend a lot of time and money to advertise this product and claim that it good for skin whitening and sensitive skin but its all a lie. Please use basic skincare product before using this, especially mask, primer, some thing to keep your skin hydrated. This product will dry your skin, especially on the nose and under eye area. The coverage is over it can cover some of freckles but that is. One of the few good things about this product is that it easy to blend. It will will oxidize to your skin color pretty fast, however, it dry up pretty fast. Please set it with some power to help the product to stay longer in your skin.
