This is my first BB cream and I have to say: I LOVE IT! >w<;;;;)!

OIL CONTROL: hmmm…let me see…it's kind of good. After some hours I have to fix it with powder but I'm not as oily as I used to be when I don't have it on, so that is really great! ^_^

SMELL: I don't think it smells bad at all…my bf even said that I smelled good XD haha

Overall, it's my favorite BB cream and I have tried some others too. Even if this is for "juniors" (which I'm not ^^;;;;)….eh it doesn't really matters if it's for juniors, it works for everyone that wants it :D :D Great, huh? ;D
But first and foremost it's good for those that don't have problem skin.

My Skin: I have combination skin and am very prone to break outs. With that said, by no means is my skin perfect- far from it actually, in my perspective. My skin tone is around NC 30 and since I am asian, I have a yellow undertone.

Coverage: The coverage that this BB cream provides is very light. It’s comparable to putting on liquid foundation with a wet sponge or a light tinted moisturizer. For those who have little blemishes or acne scars– in other words require less coverage, this BB cream will make your skin look flawless! But for those who require more coverage, unfortunately this BB cream will not do you justice. If I only have one or two extremely unpleasant acne scars or pimples, I tend to still apply this BB cream and dab on a little liquid foundation for more coverage in those specific areas.

Color: Similar to most BB creams, the shade of this BB cream is relatively light, I’d say maybe NC 20-NC25. And as I’ve stated earlier, the coverage of this BB cream is very light. Thus, even though this BB cream is a little light for me, I can easily blend it in for it to match better with my skin tone. Especially when it oxidizes a little, this BB cream seems to match my skin tone perfectly! For those who have darker skin tones, I’d recommend mixing in a little liquid foundation with the BB cream or applying a layer of powder after applying this BB cream.

Texture: One word: Remarkable. I absolutely adore the way my skin feels with this BB cream on. It leaves my skin feeling light, fresh and virtually make-up free. Unlike some other BB creams and foundataions I’ve tried, Dream Girls BB cream doesn’t leave you with the I-no-doubt-have-make-up-on feeling at all. With it on, it makes me feel like I have the skin texture every girl wants!

Oil control: I’ve never had a huge problem with oil control. But let’s knock on wood anyways before I turn into a grease ball. I’ve used many foundations before( powder and liquid) and from my experience, at the end of a long day, it just doesn’t look the same as when I applied it in the morning. On the other hand with this BB cream on, even after long hours, I feel as if I just applied it on recently. I definately did notice my skin had evidently less oil than it would generally at the end of the day with foundations.

Smell: It smells wonderful. A little floral scent mixed in with a little fruity smelling handcream scent.. I can’t exactly pinpoint what this BB cream smells like but it definately smells nice. It’s very light and not overwhelming. I’m not saying that it smells so nice that someone a mile away can smell it nor will you be able to smell it all day long with it on. It just smells pleasant when you apply it, I think that’s perfect. Personally, I don’t really need my face smelling like flowers all day long.

Overall: I love this BB cream. On days that I feel like my skin is relatively good, this BB cream makes me feel like its perfect! I can’t stress enough that even though it has light coverage, it doesn’t mean it has NO coverage at all. It has coverage and can even out skin tones, but it doesn’t mask your flaws away like most heavy coveraged foundations or BB creams. I’d also like to note that this BB cream does not have a matte finish. With it on, your skin will have a healthy glow- definately not oily, it just looks like ‘real-skin’. I definately recommend this to all who are looking for lighter feeling BB creams that still work to make your skin look flawless!

My first BB cream. I was going to buy a “Hot Pink” but at last I decided to buy this one.
I have oily skin with pimples. So I wanted something what can cover my skin imperfections.

    COVERAGE:
My skin isn’t as light as Asian girls’ but this BB fits into my skin colour. It gives my skin a radiance. I think this BB could not fit those who have very dark skin. But I might be wrong.
When I had put it on, it didn’t coverage as much as I expected. But my face looked smooth and it was like I didn’t have any make up on my face. This is an advantage.

    TEXTURE:
The texture is fine. This BB easily applied on the face. But it’s not very durable.

    OIL CONTROL:
I think this BB has some oil control. My skin wasn’t as oily as usual. But could be better.

    SMELL:
I freaking love the smell! I could smell it for hours! The biggest plus of this cream!

    OVERALL RATING:
I like it. Perfect when you don’t have to cover imperfections. “Dream Girls” is good for the first time. But I don’t know if I’m going to buy it in the future. I think I’ll choose “Aloe” by SKINFOOD.

Just like the rest of the reviewers, this BB Cream was my first one. In the beginning, my goal was actually to try the Skin 79 Super BB Triple Function as i heard many liked it. But when i went into the store, the SA told me that if i am a first time user to BB Creams than i should give a go with this Dream Girls BB Cream first.

Boy, was i glad i change my mind. This BB Cream led me to try on other BB Creams. And by saying that, i absolutely fell in love with this product. I love how light it is on my face. Like what other users kept saying, the texture of it was a little thick for starters. But as i apply the cream on, i feel really light. And it blends really well. You know, sometimes, those thick creams are really hard to blend. But this cream is a miracle!

As for the color of the cream, I’m glad i have Chinese blood. As Skin 79 product are made in Korea, i believe that their originally main purpose was for Asian skins. So i don’t usually have problems with BB Creams made in Korea. This cream has only one color and it’s a tad bit dark by look even for me. But when i apply it on, the cream just blend in really well with my skin tone. My skin usually looked like i didn’t even apply any makeup on.

But because the cream blends in well with my skin tone, there wasn’t much coverage. I give 2/5 for my rating not because i needed a lot of coverage, but because it didn’t really cover up my pimples scars really well. There was just a few dots of scars, i might say, but the cream didn’t really cover those up. If you have really good skin, bright and without scars, than this BB Cream is absolutely perfect for you.

The smell of the cream didn’t really affected me. It smells like any other cosmetic products :)

And i didn’t need to worry about putting on sunscreen. I like my BB Creams with SPF 20 and above PA ++ and above. So this product suits my criteria with SPF 30 PA++.

I have oily skin and because of that i always check my face from time to time through out the day. This cream did little help with oil control, i suppose. I need to blot my face say, two times a day especially in the afternoon.

Overall, I’d say that this cream suits best for starters with its light feeling. It’s a bit pricey, let’s be honest, but the prices of BB Creams are somewhere the same price. Unless of course, you get to go on a trip to Korea, then i would recommend you to buy as many cosmetics as you can because they are cheaper there :)

It’s a very sheer bb cream. Since I have acne and scars, this bb cream barely hides my imperfections. It does reduce redness and smooth overall skintone slightly. Overall this bb cream has no problems, but since I need something more high maintenance, it gets 3 stars.

Coverage: sheer with 30 spf so no worries about the color not matching
Texture: smooth and creamy. a little sticky.
Oil control: In the beginning I look shiny, but I believe that is due to the spf. So far I don’t think it makes me oilier or matte.

    SKIN79: DREAM GIRLS BB CREAM

A light BB Cream for young people, adient for oily skins, also with acne or blemishes. It contains SPF30/PA++ sunscreen.

My skin is light (nc20) and a little bit oily, sometimes with pimples, but not several at all. I also have visible pores and some superficial acne scars.

Here’s what I think abaut this product:

    COVERAGE and TONE:
You don’t should to be worried abaut if the tone is too much light or dark for you; if you have normal to medium light skin, there’s no problem. This BB Cream gives you a beautiful appareance at your skin (it seems more bright with a unificated tone), but don’t covers so much. In fact, when you apply the product on your face it seems quite transparent. So if you have redness, visible marks of acne or scars, this BB Cream don’t will cover it.

    TEXTURE:
The texture is the best thing of this BB Cream, I really love it!. It have a thick consistence, but when you apply it, it is very, very, very light on the skin, very thin and very comfortable. Skin turns very soft and smooth, really like baby skin!

    OIL CONTROL:
My skin is not very oily, but it frequentlly shines. This BB Cream is good at oil control for me, maybe it don’t works so well with notable oily skins, I don’t know. For a not pronunciated oily skin it is good and mantains my face matt all day long.

    SMELL:
Smell is good. This BB Cream has a really slight smell, only perceptible if you smell conscentiously the cream.

    OVERALL RATING:
I like this product. It’s perfect when I need a natural look and I don’t need cover notable imperfections. Perfect for every day. It’s very comfortable and protects me of the sun without the cackey texture of other products with sunscreen. Moreover it gives at my face a great appareance. It don’t breaks out my skin and heal my acne marks a little. In addition, I have to say that it mosturizes very well. At the end of the day my skin is mosturized and relaxed.

This is the first BB cream I have tried.
I spent many hours reading reviews and blogs about all the different types and so I decided to give this one a try.

    My Skin:
Combination with an oily t-zone. I am also prone to acne when I am stressed or its that “special” monthly time…if you know what I am talkin’ about. lol
For foundations and powders, I usually wear the lightest shade. So I guess I am an ivory to light ivory.

    ~Skin79-Dream Girls BB~
Design: its quite a cute bottle (or “squeezer-container”…cannot think of what to call it). Also, its purple…my favorite color. The one downside is, I do not like the fact that you must squeeze the make-up out due to sanitation.

Color: This BB cream is a very light color, but it does make my skin extra soft and pretty looking. Yet…it does a horrible job at covering up blemishes; it may cover them slightly, but they can still be noticed! *sad face*.
Overall, if there are no blemishes thought, my skin glows (in a nice way). =)

Texture: This is a very light BB cream…smooth and creamy. Its the perfect texture if you ask me. Not too thick and not too liquid. Prefect. Spreads nicely and everything.

Coverage: As stated above, the coverage on this product is low…barely covers blemishes. But, if your skin is clear (or you have acne scars) its does well at covering everything else and making you glow! Sort of reminds me of a doll-like skin look with not too much color. But ofcourse if you want more color (and to cover up those blemishes!!), then brush some loose powder on afterwards. I use Raw Natural Beauty Raw Natural Minerals Active Mineral Powder, which I love (has a long name thought lol)!!

Oil control: This lasted all day perfectly well. Even when waking from my dorm to all the campus’ buildings. Those can be long, tiring walks.
However, when going to the gym, I sweat the stuff off–like one should! Any make-up that does not come off when you sweat is crazy.

Smell: This product smells great to me. Actually, when I bought it, I was smelling it for quite awhile. Looked like I had a problem or something. haha. But yes, nice smell!

Overall, I would say this product is amazing.
Its great for first time buyers of BB cream.
However, if you have blemishes on the bad side (like I am currently), then I would recommended going with a BB cream with more coverage.

Dreamgirls makes your skin feel good, nice texture not only directly against your skin but also when you touch your skin, wonderful smell, and lasts all day.
Solid A. (not adding the + due to the coverage fact…but, that’s the only negative!!)

lovely as a tinted moisteriser, for reference i have nc25 light medium asian skin, do not get pimples at all, normal-combo skintype[oily nose with giant pores but normal everywhere else].

colour is great for me – there is not much coverage at all so your natural colour will show through, if you have bad acne/scars/redness then maybe this isn’t for you, very blendable as it’s not thick like other bb creams.

lightly fragrant but i like the smell.

i’m 26 & find this is good for me so you don’t need to be a teen to use this ;)

This is the first BB cream I’ve tried & I quite like it :)
I have sort of red patchy skin and it evens out my skin tone very well. I love how it minimises the redness in my face.
Although, even though its said to be for teenage skin, I don’t think it can cover up pimples very well. The coverage is extremely light, perfect for everyday use but not if you want a flawless finish. I don’t recommend it to anyone who has mild/moderate acne. I used to, but I bought this BB cream just as my pimples were fading away & it has really helped ! If you only have a few spots here or there, it’s fine. This BB cream
can minimise the redness & make it seem less obvious but it can’t cover it completely.
The texture is nice & spreadable, quite watery but I like it. It’s completely matte but doesn’t make your face look cakey even if you put on heaps. It has no fragance at all, great for everyday.
The oil control is decent. My skin is quite dry so I don’t really get oily. After about 6 hours, there will be a slight shimmer, which looks healthy & natural. If you have dry skin like me, put on heaps of moisturiser before you put on this BB cream.
As for the additional effects like whitening, problem area targeting etc. I actually think it has an effect. Most people say they don’t see the effects of the benefits in BB creams, but I can see it about after a week. My face is whiter, brighter and less red. I think with prolonged use my problem areas will no longer be problems. Oh and I love the sunscreen :)

In conclusion, it’s a great everyday use BB cream for those who have have minor pimple problems. The only thing I don’t like about is how light the coverage is, its alright for everyday, but I want to be a bit more covered for special occasions.
