I have mature skin, very pale and rosacea. This bb cream is a really good choice if you have sensitive combination skin. It dries matte but not masky, and covers well to create a protective barrier from the sun. As others have said, when you remove it, the skin feels improved — calmer and softer.
I use this all the way down my neck and onto any chest areas not covered by my clothing. It doesn’t melt or get onto clothing.
I have not purchased the full size pump bottle yet. The sample and travel sizes are so cheap if you order from Korea that I may just keep ordering those. It’s nice to be able to carry it in my bag.
I am one of those girls who doesn’t like to wear make up often, loves to look natural and I find it hard to find a foundation that matches my skin tone. This was the first BB cream I tried and I feel in love!! It doesn’t feel like I am wearing make-up and it matches my skin tone perfectly and it isn’t expensive
It has a light/medium coverage which is great for my skin. There isn’t a heavy smell to it which is fantastic XD

Look, I’ll be the first person to tell you that I do not like to wear “makeup”. In fact, I hate it. This stuff is great. I don’t even feel like I’m wearing gobs of makeup. I can just dab this stuff on (and it does tell you to “pat” it on on the label) and go. It’s convenient, it is lightweight compared to the standard foundation and powder I was used to and it matches my skin tone perfectly (medium/light – yellowish). The SPF level is reasonable and you can touch it up as needed if you are outdoors. Personally, all I do is put it on right after I wash my face and if I need to touch it up, I just lightly dab my face with a tissue or paper towel and touch up the areas that need it. It’s so cheap too compared to other department store brands. Who doesn’t like a bargain?
I absolutely love this bb cream. It provides good coverage and it lasts all day. The smell is gentle and pleasant. My skin feels good and moistured with this cream. Only the oil control could be better. I always have to put on several layers of powder throughout the day.
After 4 months of use, this BB cream has become my HG!

This BB has yellow undertone and I heard feedback from others that it suits up to NC30. Unlike the Hot Pink version, it doesn’t produce an obvious gray cast upon application.
It can be layered for more coverage but it won’t cover very dark spots. It’s sufficient for me because I don’t need heavy coverage. It’s a little thicker than most BB Creams and not the most easy to spread. Maybe using moisturizer underneath may help.
As it is targeted for dry-skinned individuals, it doesn’t offer much oil control. I have combination-oily skin so I have to blot but even without blotting, it doesn’t look and feel greasy on the face.
What makes this HG material is that the longer it sits on my face, the smoother my face looks! When I oil up a little, it gives this lovely dewy shine that I really love! Makes my skin look poreless.
If you’re dry-skinned this BB cream would be perfect for you! Recommended!
I am latino with medium skin tone and yellow undertones. I have conbination oily dry skin, and quite a bit of scarring from past acne (3d scars) the reason why I like this bb cream is that it gives good enough coverage without being too heavy. When it first comes out of the bottle it looks very thick, so i would advice you only use half a pump. After application it does look a bit lighter than my skintone; however it should be fully oxidized to match your skintone after a few minutes. I think it controls my oil pretty well i can wear it for about 6 hrs without touchups. It does have a slight smell to it which is kind of flowery it sort of reminds me of sunscreen, it fades and isn’t so noticeable throughout the day. I have tried other bb creams (elysha coy, lioele and pink skin79) and so far this is my favorite.
Starting off I’m very pale, I usually use any nude foundation in the lightest tone they have, sometimes even then the foundation is too dark. I have light acne, and very pink cheeks.
Overall Rating; I really liked this bb cream the best out of all the skin79 ones I’ve tried. It’s light, but not too light. It also whitened the pink in my cheeks, which was a major plus.
Coverage; Overall it covers really well for me without having to apply it a bunch of times. Occasionally I have to add a little more concealer in around the time I break out.
Texture; really creamy and light. goes on really smooth.
Oil control; my face usually gets oily mid day, and this bb cream somehow keeps it from getting all oily and shiny.
Smell; Smells like every other skin79 bb cream to me basically. Unlike the diamond bb cream the smell does not last though. This bb creams scent fades away pretty quickly, but I’m not bothered by it.
Some info: This was the 3rd bb cream that I tried. I’m pale with a hint of yellow hehe. I have combination skin and I don’t usually get pimples.
Coverage:
At first I was a bit hesitant to use this because right when I pumped it out, the color was darker than the other skin 79 bb cream. It actually blends fine after it oxidizes and gives my skin a smooth, dewy, and clean coverage. It works very well covering some of my pimple scars or redness. My mom also uses this and the color matches her very well. She and I have both gotten compliments on how flawless our skin is. This bb cream will cover blemishes and makes your skin color more even. You can totally use this on any lazy day; I usually just put this on when I’m in a hurry and I’m all good for the day ^_^. My mom uses this bb cream most of the time, when I get a bit tan then I use this so it matches my neck color hehe. Don’t forget to put some on your neck too.
Texture: I absolutely love the texture, it blends very well and is easy to push out. It’s like a moisturizer. FYI to those who want to compare the texture to foundations: foundations feels more matte and dry, but bb creams is more moisturizing and doesn’t give you the powdery look. This bb cream might seem a bit thick when you pump it out, but then it’s very easy to spread out so no worries! (Fingers are more easy to use than brushes) It makes your skin look very nice after you blend it. The texture feels very light and it won’t seem heavy at all.
Oil control: Since I have combination skin, the place that I get more oil is on my nose. As far as oil control, this depends on each person, but usually I don’t get oily besides my nose. Sometimes at the end of the day, my nose might seem a bit shiny, but no worries! Use a blotting tissue or powder your nose/face(good for when you take pictures) after applying the bb cream to help it. This bb cream will definitely help moisturize especially during the winter times. This bb cream is also easy to wash off, and doesn’t clog my pores.
Smell: There’s not really a distinctive smell, but it does smell nice and light. You might smell something, but after you apply it, it goes away
Overall: I really like this bb cream, although it’s probably not my go-to bb cream because it’s slightly darker than my skin tone, but definitely a great first-time starter. What’s also great about this product is that it has whitening effects, SPF (yay! Now you don’t have to apply sunscreen beforehand) which protects your skin from harmful UV rays, and wrinkle improvement (I don’t really have any, so I can’t say….but great way to start preventing them haha). This also helps improve the skin (clear skin FTW!) This bb cream gives a very natural look which is a great step if you just want something for your face. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a natural, yet moisturizing look.

I have:
-oily combination skin
-freckles/acne scars/light sun spots/some moderate acne
-teenaged/hormonally unbalanced skin
-tan (about NC-30 or NC-35) with yellow-ish undertones
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s move on to the review
Coverage:

-When I first applied this BB cream, the color matched really well with me:D A perfect match even!
Unlike the Hot Pink version which has this slight grey-ish cast, the Super Gold has this salmon-y, skin (is that a color?) undertone even after it oxidizes.
-Now the coverage is pretty sheer; better than a tinted moisturizer, but less coverage compared to foundation.
Coverage is very good when you first apply it, but once it oxidizes the coverage becomes sheer (I’ve noticed this with the a lot of the Skin79 BB creams
-Coverage is build-able, but could be too heavy on the skin.
Texture:
-It’s very creamy and a bit thick. Like a smooth, facial cream. It’s very easy to blend into the skin and kinda “hovers” over any slight bumps I have so my face looks smoother
Oil Control:
-Not good.
This BB cream is more for winter time, people with dry skin, or people with behaved skin.
-If you have oily or hormonally challenged skin(yeah, what of it? -_-)like me, then you’ll need to blot or set with powder so your face won’t be too shiny.
Smell:
-Very nice, subtle floral smell. It’s not strong and within a few minutes of application, the scent goes away
Overall:
-I like this BB cream. Yes, the oil factor is a bit off-putting to me, but I’ll use this for the winter months when skin’s at it’s driest
-Super Gold claims to have whitening and anti-aging properties. Now I don’t have any lines yet, but I have noticed that a few large acne scars become more faint
It’s not a major-over-night whitening process; I used this BB cream on an off for a month (probably would’ve seen faster progress if I used it continuously lol) and either it’s my mind playing tricks on me, but a couple of small spots along my chin have fade quite a bit!
-I would recommend this to someone with “aging-skin” or dry skin. It’s very moisturizing and a pretty good BB cream to start off with.
This is the first BB cream I’ve ever tried and I’m very happy with it! I was looking for something light, just to achieve an even skin tone and this BB cream did just that. Coverage isn’t great for those of you looking for something like a foundation. I noticed that it also gives me a shimmery glow to my face when I put it on, somewhat like the dewy effect BB creams are supposed to create. Also, this BB cream is targeted towards dry skin which is suitable for my face. I do noticed that I have to put on moisturizer beforehand to avoid dry patches showing up. Overall, this BB cream helps you reach a very natural look and if that’s what you’re looking for, I’d definitely recommend it!
I’m only 16 and I am chinese (so , you’ll gather what skin colour I have , which is hmm , medium tone with a hint of yellow tones) , I was curious of BB Cream and I’ve read and re-read numerous reviews of numerous BB Creams that I’m able to purchase !
Finally , I have chosen Skin 79 Super Gold BB Cream (:
The coverage I liked , even though when I first applied it (after cleansing, toning and moisturising) , it was rather pale and ‘ashy’ looking. But after about 10-15 minutes , the BB Cream kinda of adapts to my skin tone slightly , at this stage my skin seems lighter in tone but now shows my yellow tones through. Then I noticed that my neck seemed rather noticeable against my face so I applied a layer of BB Cream there too.
This cream managed to cover my red-ish patches on my cheeks and covers my blemishes too (few spots , scars from previous ones).
The texture was rather interesting: (I apply with my fingers) it’s rather thick at first but then I blend it outwards. the cream then ‘lightens’ or maybe my skin was ‘drinking’ it ? well , it felt more like moisturiser than most foundations where they get ‘caught’ in dryish patches on the face (how annoying , eh ? aha)
The oil control.. well , as my face is usually oily within 6 hours with usual foundation (you know , with one wipe with the hinds and a layer of grease is left on your fingers *gags*), this BB Cream has a positive outcome : at the end of the day (like , 8am until 10pm) my face doesn’t show the usual amount of grease that it would do with foundation
My face only has this dewy-type look under my eyes , light like a highlighter ? aha
The scent of this cream smells , to me , quite sophisticated when applied and after application , the scent goes away which is fine by me (:

I actually bought two bb cream this skin 79 super gold and missha perfect cover, but ive been using the skin79 more often cause it has less spf since its still spring, but I’ve noticed that my skin actually gone whiter since my skin was always tan and especially the summer I look super tan and i have somewhat of a combination skin so i love how the bb cream brightened my skin, good coverage, i love the texture its not heavy like liquid foundation, its very light but the only con about it is that around my nose I tend to have the most oil so i put more bb cream around that area but it didnt help at all
I can always feel some oil around and a bit cakey around my nose.
My first BB cream so nothing to compare it to.

Light. No strong smell. Goes on a shade lighter than my coloration but then seems to adjust perfectly! Washed off very easily. Perfect coverage for my need- very mild acne scarring.
Very little of the product is needed to cover my entire face. Feels lighter than my previous routine! [Was previously using foundation to cover just my problem areas like my T-zone and some mild acne scarring...then using a matte foundation from Sephora]

Well this is my very first BB cream I’ve tried, and the end of the result is VERY good! I find it looks very natural sometimes, but since i use a brush to apply my BB cream. Depending on my skin colour whether I’m in the shade you won’t notice that much of the BB cream; the downside of this BB cream is, that there are soo many fakes and plus the skin color is just a little bit chalky than my skin colour. The coverage of this foundation is alright, I have to put sometime, a second layer just to cover up a patch of redness on my face, and this can give me a cakey look, also it oxidize my skin very fast so this is what I like, it still give me a slight natural coverage, but still see my red cheeks. I have a oriental skin colour so it’s ok, for winter or spring, but when it gets to summer I would need to find another BB cream. The Oil control is so-so, depending how much cream you put on it’ll be alright. For me I have to put my moisturizer then apply my bb cream. Since I have small patches of dry skin, I immediately have to moisturize it before applying this BB cream. The smell is neutral, so I’m not that bothered. The texture is very creamy, so I will recommend this bit. I love the texture of it! It’s very smooth, so most time it gives me a smooth look! The blending of this is alright, i have to blend again with my Blusher or foundation brush. It’s hard to blend with my finger tips because sometime it creates some patches. I always dap my cream all over so it gives a good natural look. Overall, it’s an alright BB cream, for skin who wants some oil control. I recommend this bb cream overall (:
This is the first BB cream I tried and I was a bit disappointed even with doing all the research I could to find one that suited my dry sensitive skin. I have some marks to cover but not much but need lots of hydration.
Unfortunately, this formula did not work for me.
This is perfect for someone who requires light coverage as I layered it four times and still did not get any coverage. I also did not care for the fake floral hairspray smell but it did not last long. It went on a bit dark but after 20 minutes the colour matched my skin tone better. I would say it’s better for someone with fairly decent skin that is not sensitive as my face burned a bit wearing this and has combo skin.
This bb cream is probably my favourite so far.
First of all, I love the texture: creamy, but really light and moisturizing on the skin. it makes my skin really soft even after I remove it at night, it feels really good. the coverage is medium I would say, I do not have major blemishes or scars to cover, so on my skin it’s just perfect, and I also love the fact that the finish is natural and does not look like foundation or real makeup.
I cannot really comment on the oil control because my skin is not oily, but I can say it lasts all day and does not make my skin shine, only a healthy glow which does not look oily at all.
This bb cream has a nice smell, not too strong, just like a lotion, and the smell fades pretty quickly after applying it.
I would recommend it for people who need a moisturizing product, but still with a natural finish.
I love this BB cream! It’s very moisturizing but it doesn’t make the skin oily. There is also a slight shimmery gold effect, and a slight smell that doesn’t bother. Texture is smooth, easy to blend and spread. I reccommend this for winter because of its moisturizing properties. It also was good at healing my skin, some bumps on my face shrunk and my cheeks felt really soft afterwards!
Problems with this cream is that the coverage isn’t good, but you can improve the coverage by building it up. The colour is also like a dark grey gold, which doesn’t do much for brightening the skin and making it look radiant.
The texture is very smooth , not hard to blend , i really like the feeling of wearing bb cream cause it feel very natural and light on my skin. I find that it look more natural on skin then any foundation or mineral makeup i have ever try.I will purchase it again but on ebay because its around $14 on ebay. Other sites sell it for $25 or more. so buy it on ebay. ITs work good in the summer, when the weather is hot too. the cream become more moisturize and give me skin very soft looking. Recommended bb cream. ;]
