I wouldn’t say that this is THE perfect BB cream, since, I have to admit, it still does have its pro’s and cons, but I have to say, this is by far, my second favorite BB cream of all time! I seriously love love LOVE this product! I actually consumed three bottles of this in a course of nine months! But it’s only my second favorite since I’m now currently using my number 1 favorite! Kkk. ^_^
Okay, so I’ve done a couple of reviews previously so I’m just going to copy-paste the description of my skin type. Kkk.. ^_^
To start off, I have a combination to oily skin type with very few blemishes and the occasional hormone-induced zits during my period week. My skin is rather sensitive and in a way, well, ‘choosy’ when it comes to make-up so I tend to be really careful on what I apply. But probably my worst skin issue is my pore size. I have like the hugest pores ever! I usually wake up with super oily skin around my t-zone and pores as large as craters.
Well, if there’s one thing I’ve learned over my previous BB cream experiences, it’s to never trust everything you read about in a review. People will have different reactions to each product and thus leading to different opinions. As to this one, I’ve read a fair share of reviews, both good and bad about it before I ever considered trying it myself.
Firstly, the smell. It. Is. Wonderful. I swear it by the cuteness of my puppy’s paws! It has this really mild, powdery fresh scent that is very nostalgic. Also, it comes in two sizes: 40 ml in a pump-up tube and 20 ml in a squeeze-out tube.
The texture is smooth and not too thick, but it does tend to dry up rather quickly when in small amounts. It spreads out really well so a minute amount goes a long way. Also, it comes in two shades: light beige and natural beige. (I used natural beige because it’s darker and hides imperfections better). It provides medium coverage, well enough to hide minor blemishes and redness but doesn’t really completely hide dark spots, so again, a little concealer might not hurt for those darker spots. Thankfully, it also helps minimize the appearance of large pores and doesn’t leave you with a shiny-shimmery look, but with a rather fresh, healthy glow. Oh, but a fair warning, stay away from camera flashes. Haha! Trust me, you’d be surprise what a light glow might do to your face in picture. Lol.
And, just like most BB creams, it doesn’t last the whole day but at least it lasts longer than most brands and has better oil control. It can keep the shine at bay for maybe 5-6 hours depending on the humidity.
And I am most proud to say that this one never EVER made me break out. Nuh-uh. Not even once. Just stick to your regular cleansing regimen and maybe exfoliate once or twice a week and you’re good.
I seriously love this product and would buy it again if I get a chance. I would highly recommend everyone to give this a try.

I have been using this BB product for two weeks and my skin feels tighter. I doesn’t leave a greasy feel and “cooking oil” smell, unlike the other BB products I have tried. I also noticed that the pores on my nose area appear “smaller”.
It is my first time using a bb cream. and my first choice is this. the only con for me is that, it dries out really fast. giving me a hard time spreading it evenly and I always end up putting too much. What I do is use a moisturizer before using it, so I spread it evenly on my face. so the moisturizing thingy on this product is kinda useless. once I empty this one out, i sure will try a different bb cream.
I live in Singapore (where it is VERY hot and VERY humid) and my skin is EXTREMELY oily and acne-prone. This is the first BB cream that I’ve ever used and I absolutely love this product. It hasn’t given me any problems at all.
Texture: It has a light airy feel that doesn’t feel thick on the skin. Sometimes, I can even forget that I’m wearing BB cream! It’s also long wearing, sweat-proof and waterproof. So, after 12 hours the BB cream doesn’t come off at all, even if I’m sweating buckets of water. My skin doesn’t breakout, and there hasn’t been any negative reactions to this product so far. (I’ve been using this BB cream for a year.)
Colour: There are two colours. I use the darker shade even though I’m quite pale, since I prefer to look tanner. It’s a little bit too pinkish for my skin tone, as I have yellow undertones. One of the few downsides of this BB cream is the colour. It looks unnaturally pink on me, such that it’s pretty obvious that I’ve applied makeup when people look closely enough.
Coverage: This BB cream has excellent coverage. I use only one pump of the product and all my acne scars and zits are covered up. It’s a medium to full coverage depending on the method of application. I use my fingers.
Oil Control: The BB cream has a radiant, dewy finish which I really don’t like. I prefer products with a matte finish, but this one feels good on my skin, so I’ll stick with it till I can find a better one. The oil control is not exactly the best… I have to blot after 2 hours (even after using loose powder on top of the BB cream) and that can be really annoying. The shiny effect is another one of the downsides of this product. But if you don’t mind blotting every once awhile, then it’s a pretty decent BB cream.
Smell: I don’t really care much about the scent of any makeup product, but if you’re into such things, this BB cream has a nice flowery smell. Most face shop products smell good anyway.
Price: In Singapore, this costs about $51. So it is kinda pricey for a student like me… But it’s worth it, if you’re looking for something to cover up scars and imperfections without the heavy makeup-y feel.
Overall, this BB cream is one of my favourite makeup products and I’m never gonna switch back to foundation after using this. (DUH. it’s so much better.)Despite the limitations in terms of colour and oil control, I will still use this product as it gives me what I need in terms of long lasting full coverage with the bonus of having a lightweight texture. So, if you have problem skin and if you’re looking for full coverage, I recommend this BB cream.
I started using this product about 6 months ago. The packaging is attractive with a pump to maintain the sterility of the product.
This cream is not too thick and easy to apply to the face, quickly absorbed and able to cover blemishes or acne scars completely.
Because my skin is kind of combination, I just put a bit in the T. For more special events, after the usage of BB I put foundation. And the result is very satisfactory. Powder sticking with durable and perfect but still natural,
I love this product. Apart from the benefits of a satisfactory product, its price is relatively affordable. I think not want to switch to other BB products because everything I need already owned by this product.
Was offered a sample of this at the Face Shop without purchasing anything so I was keen to try it out.
On the first day of using it I used a minimal amount and all my blemishes were covered, uneven skin tone was evened out and it blended in pretty well.
On the second day of using it I experimented by using a little bit more product and ended up looking flawless but very unnatural.
This BB Cream is of a slightly darker/orangey tone so it is good for people who have darker skin tones.
Just done use too much and you will be fine.
I tried sample portion of this BB cream. I don’t have sensitive skin thus I don’t have any effect such as irritation or redness on my skin. In fact, I love this product! It has a very pigmented formula, with just tiny dots, it spreads out easily on the skin. It may dry up easily,so got to work it fast. I did not use this alone, I used foundation over the this bb cream. My makeup lasts all day long in hot weather. Even though I needed to blot my oily areas, but the foundation stays. The staying power is wonderful. It also came with a suitable tone with my skin. Overall, I love this product. The price is just over my budget which is around BND$50, if I’m not mistaken. I might want to get one for my self in the future.. hehe
I have been using this BB cream for about 2months now. The first review said that her skin becomes red and itchy, this bb cream does the opposite for me. As the product says, it really provides nice coverage to the skin to hide little imperfections and it makes my skin really really soft. the product is really good. The only downside to this product is that it tends to be a little oily when the afternoon comes. so be sure to buy a compact powder that match the bb cream to prevent a little oiliness in the face. But all in all, i recommend this product.
I have regreted after using this BB cream from The Face Shop-Power Perfection BB Cream. It make my skin RED and Itchy. 2 days later I called the shop, wanted to return and they refused. I strongly do not recommend this product or the shop to all my friends. No after sales services. The shop do not care for any after purchase. Who ever has been using this and have the same problem as I do, please review so that others will not fall into it. Thank You.
