This line doesn’t have a color match for me, everything is too dark. I can almost get away with it in the summer but it just makes my face look dirty.

True Match is really watery but somehow still provides good coverage. It’s comfortable to wear and lasted well on my oily skin. The finish is nice, not too matte and not too dewy. It does have a tendency to look cakey if not blended well and over acne scars.

L’Oreal true match Super Blendable foundation is in one word: awesome. It is a foundation that I would recommend to people with Combo-oily skin, and not to drier skin types because of the fact that it does have a powder finish. However, some people I’ve asked who also use this would say that this foundation is not the best time-wise, and would suggest putting a powder over it anyways, to act as a backup plan.

    Coverage:
This foundation is a very light one, and so you can layer it according to however you want. One lay will cover up most small things, such as evening out skin-tone, minor scars, and freckles, etc.. It is very comparable to the Skin79 Hot Pink in that first layer. In the second, if you apply it, it will cover up much more, sort of like that of the Missha Perfect Cover bbcream. I do like that it isn’t as thick or heavy, and that I can control how it looks by layering it on as I wish.

    Texture:
This foundation is very rather light, I found. It has a very runny and thin consistency, much more so that any regular bbcream. This fact also makes it a wonder to blend in, as it claims. I suggest blending it in with your fingers, because you really don’t need a brush to, and it look more even, since the consistency does tend to streak it applied it a brush sometimes.

    Oil Control:
Many people I talk to about this foundation say that it is not the best for staying-power, but I think thatit actually is perfect for the average student, because it drys to a powder finish, and then by the end of the day, it would be a dewy look, such as when you first apply bbcream. Also, if you don’t like that dewy finish, you can always just reapply powder on top of the foundation to make it last longer as well.

    Smell:
When I open foundations in general, I can smell a certain odour of chemicals. If you ever smell a foundation, I think you know what I mean. With this foundation however, I can’t smell a thing, unless I stick my nose all the way inside the bottle, which is a huge plus!

    Product claims (on website):

    Matches exactly with skin tone:
This is THE foundation line to go to if you can’t find a good tone-matching foundation. There are currently 18 shades, which is amazing! Many people say that this line is the only one for their skin tone because it just matches so well and none of the other foundations that they’d tried have matched that well. I find it helpful to know your shade at MAC beforehand however, because then you would know what area you are in. I found that on the helpful little colour-matching sheet that I was cool-toned, when in fact I am warm! So know your skin-tone (whether you are cool or warm).

Doesn’t contain: oils, fragrances, or pore-clogging fillers:
I find that this product is not oily (dries to powder finish) and only if you are oily that after maybe 8 hours you would get dewy. However, this can be avoided but blotting throughout the day or layering another powder on top when you apply it.

As I said earlier, this product doesn’t have a chemical-ly smell to it as many others do.

Pore-clogging is always an issue with me, and I have acne and definitely don’t want to break out. When I use this, I have never broken out, but that’s just my skin. Everyone is different, so you may want to test it out before so you know whether or not you would breakout or are sensitive to the foundation.

    Natural-looking finish:
Only if you layer it on lightly. If you cake it on, if doesn’t matter what they say, it will look cakey! But I find that although it covers many of my skins flaws, it doesn’t look unnatural. However, too many layers and . . . you never want to layer on that much of ANYTHING.

    Ending comments:
This foundation is a very good foundation, and one that I might consider re-purchasing (although bbcream is still the main makeup I use daily) if I run out. Another note is that this has an SPF of 17, so I do like that it protects your skin, however, it may give you a slight whitish tinge in photos, as products with SPF in them usually do.
So, in summary, it is a very good quality makeup item, and I would highly recommend you try it if you are ever looking for a good drugstore foundation.
